Updates

Emory University Model United Nations Conference (Fall 2021)

Our AGE High School students virtually participated in the Emory University Model United Nations Conference located in Atlanta, Georgia The conference theme this year was: Redefining Impact. Our students debated topics such as Filibuster Reforms in the United States Senate and the Global Sales of Weapons. Besides debating real world issues and passing on successful resolutions which may be passed on to the United Nations, our students received two awards: Earning Outstanding Delegate, representing Pakistan is Haiqa Niazi in 10th grade; and earning Verbal Commendation, representing France was Tayyiba Sheikh in 9th grade. Very proud of our AGE delegates, the ambassadors of Peace!

AGE Student Council Elections & Results

The Student Council Elections took place on Thursday, October 14th in our Ridgefield Park campus gym in the midst of an audience of Middle and High School students. The rest of the AGE student body joined from classrooms via WebEX to listen to the candidates' speeches. The candidates have done a great job facing the crowd as they gave their fiery speeches and the students made their decisions and voted.

The results are as follows:

  • President: Hatem Dandis

  • Vice President: Yasmeen Nassar

  • Treasurer: Ines Ibrahim

  • Secretary:  Eliza Tatarkulova 

  • Public Relations Officers: Malak Abbas & Saleena ElBayar

We are proud of all the candidates that have organized successful election campaigns and gave great speeches on Election Day. We also have high expectations of the 2021-2022 AGE Student Council Board.

With the grace of Allah SWT, we are honored and humbled to announce that the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and the Council of Islamic Schools in North America ( CISNA) has fully accredited the Academies of Greatness and Excellence. 

Ramadan at AGE

 

Despite the pandemic, students at AGE fully enjoy the blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan. During this special month, our teachers create nurturing environments through fun-filled activities that foster the love for Ramadan. See more...
