AGE Model UN High School Team at   BOSMUN XXIII (2024)

​

A group of our High School students were in Boston in February attending the BOSMUN XXII conference, where they had the opportunity to showcase their public speaking and negotiation skills over a three-day conference. They came back victorious with 10 Awards from this competitive conference:

AGE Participates in the TEKI First Lego League Expo (2024)

A group of 2nd Grade students participated in the TEKI First Lego League Expo, held on January 28th, showcasing great performance. Their engagement in this competition stands as proof of our overarching mission to cultivate a profound appreciation for science among our students. 
This achievement reflects the focused efforts of our STEM classes led by our amazing 2nd Grade team,  in addition to our after-school Coding program. Through structured practice and dedicated mentorship, our students have demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and skill.

AGE High School Earns College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award  

 

AGE has earned the College Board AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award and has been recognized for closing the Gender Gap in AP Computer Science Principles. Schools honored with the AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award have expanded girls’ access in AP computer science courses. More than 1,000 institutions achieved either 50% or higher female representation in one of the two AP computer science courses or a percentage of the female computer science exam takers meeting or exceeding that of the school’s female population during the 2020-21 school year. In 2021, Academy of Greatness was one of 760 recognized in the category of AP Computer Science Principles (CSP).

AGE- Community Service 

​

The AGE High School Ummah Re-United Club and the AGE Student Council are making a positive impact on the neighboring communities in Newark and Hoboken. The students are arranging food campaigns during the months of February and March to prepare and deliver food to shelters every other week. This is AGE's small contribution to feeding the hungry and serving their community.
